I just have to Rant
The church website makes it, oh, IMPOSSIBLE to find or contact members of the local Singles congregation. That leaves me to just chill in the hotel, or drive, or stay at work.
Or look for SUSHI!
In a totally unrelated note, anyone have any suggestions for what to do in Spokane?
It sounds like to me that it is time to break out the ole stand-by, the phone book. Call and find out from a leader.
I’d recommend asking a local what they recommend you do and visit while in town, that way you may discover some beautiful park nearby or a small art gallery or who knows what else. Oh, and find Spokane’s Main Street equivalent and walk it; check out the small businesses and start up conversations with locals that way.
Whoa… whoa…
You two are being a little extreme here..
Talking to people…
Crazy talk..
Get in the car and drive home….Zion….Paradise….Microsoft. You know you want to. Just make sure you take off your penguin shirt first, or we’ll see you on the 6:00 news.
Hey, I second that, if he’s saying Seattle. Not too far, you know! π
Hmmmm, you could buy me a new laptop while you’re there? Or you could work on selling those pinball machines that are gathering dust in your apartment π (Oh-BTW-your toilet flooded and it ruined all the pinball machines and your TiVo—so I had to take them)
Uh, my dad went there once. Not helpful information, but that’s all I know about Spokane.
So I grew up in Spokane and my dad is in the bishopric of once of the singles ward. Want his info? Email me.
Things to do in Spokane….
1) Get a hamburger from Zips. Pure divine heaven
2) Go to Manito Park and check out the lilac gardens. They might not be in full bloom yet, but maybe.
3) Go down to riverfront park and feed the goat and slide on the huge red wagon.
4) If you’re there long enough take a drive over to Coeur D’Alene. It is a really cool little spot on a beautiful lake.
Sorry, I left the wrong email address. This one should work.
Brian: Don’t make me cry
Brendo: Don’t make me spew
Katie: Thanks. Zips was good π
