Your attacks thus far have been of the I’m rubber, your glue variety. 🙂

And really, it’s not like I’m going to stop liking Anne of Green Gables. Reading those books is like going to a very homey, carefree place, where I can imagine what I would have done if I had lived during those times. I’ve always had a sneaking suspicion I was born 100 years too late, but at the same time I’m way too liberated and liberal to be able to survive back then.

Jane Austin isn’t that bad, really, I promise.

and FEC is future eternal companion. . . what rock have you been hiding under in Mormondom? Even I know that as a convert 😉

The Jane Austin Society is having a meeting at the library. It’s called “Why we love Jane Austin” I think you should go!

Chris, we all know that you have an undying love for Jane Austin, and anything that has to do with Anne of Green Gables. It is time to stop denying the truth, and admitting who you REALLY are! ;P

I have to admit, your choices are a little heavy on the cartoon side. Maybe that is how we all should view the world. In any event, I also would be intereste to hear what you would do if you had a DVD player and TV, then what would you take.

I don’t know about some of the books, ones I have never heard of, but you do have some good choices.

  7. Sue Anne says:

Have you read Enchantment by Orson Scott Card? Awesome book.

Just catching up today. The only books I can speak of these days involve a bunch of theory blah blah blah about my thesis. One day I’ll return to the glory that is reading for fun (a la L.M. Montgomery and Jane Austen).

    Oh, I’ll bring it on.

    I’ll bring it on.
