So… The battle damage so far

1) Torn cartilage in my knees

2) 3 Weeks without mail, which the USPO managed to give me the wrong keys for

3) 1 Space Invaders Cutting board

4) 3 Weeks for Lowes to get me the right fridge

5) Money owed to other people. Lots

So, I’ve been inviting Brian, Crystal, and Braxton over for Taco Salad, um, every night now, and conveintly they already have plans and invite me over instead.

I’m thinking it’s the Taco Salad.. Can’t be the strawberry milkshakes afterwards…

So.. In honor of you

Oh, and I know I said I would review Dark Knight, but I have been too busy spreading the good word of Dark Knight and the Joker.

First off, I pity you.

What is the difference between Seasons 1,2,3,4,5 ?

Oh, I forget, Different side characters die. If I was a side character on that show, I’d be humming the tune to the Polices “Don’t stand to close to me” Whenever Bauer showed up.

So.. For those of you who are still 24 fans, and who are old enough to remember the Goonies..

It’s 3am. I just finished watching Dark Knight and I’ll post a review of it later, but I have two things to say.

1) Christopher Nolan is a Genius of a Director and Writer. He understands the comic book mythos. He is able to portray his art in a way I have seen in only a very few filmmakers.

2) If Heath Ledger does not get an Posthumus Oscar for this performance, I may never watch the Oscars again. It was true, he was the Joker. He encompassed all the attributes of the Joker. The Anarchy. The intelligence. I can see where people feel like this performance is what pushed him over the edge. I can see how. I have never so believed that an actor was the real deal until tonight.

And I’ll be going to see it again. And probably again after that. That is something that I haven’t said in years.

It’s just that good.

And I am unpacking.

And my knee blew out, and is causing me pain.

And spent more money, and filled out (signature and initial) more paperwork than I would have ever thought

And haggled a lot of good deals (I am finding I love to haggle)

So. The house… Did the final walk through. It has grass, it has a tree.

I have pictures, but it’s midnight, and I don’t want to do the work to get them put on the server

Oh, and the server will be offline for however long it takes me to ge hooked up in the new home.

So far I’ve saved $800 in just asking people to give me a better deal. Even did that with a moving truck (27 bucks baby!)

Oh, and I can’t sleep. Very Anxious.
