Recently a male relative called me up. We’ll call him Dewey, in order to protect the innocent.

The conversation went something like this.

“You’ve failed your job! You were supposed to convince my wife that Pride and Prejudice was evil. She went and saw the Knightly version, and now she’s gone and bought the A&E Version as well!”.

I mourn for Dewey. Another happy man, drug down into the abyss known as Pride and Prejudice. All that walking and dancing and talking of feelings and stuff.

To top things off, I got sick, and stayed at Dewey’s house. While I was in the throws of illness, she turned on Pride and Prejudice. In order to make me more sick? I don’t know. But I do have my suspicions.

Let us all drink some Hot Chocolate in mourning for Dewey.

With lots of Whipped Cream.

As I have been perusing the internets, I found something I think I may have to get (besides the nifty LED belt buckle I saw at the University Mall. I must have one of those as well…)

I was looking at some Do It Yourself stuff and saw this website for Ready Made Magazine.

They have some cool museum plaques for the house. I have to have these.

It kind of pleases my “pop culture kid” inside.

You know, I’m a man who doesn’t ask for a whole lot.

But Target gave me a rain check for that Star Wars Millenium Falcon Lego Set on Black Friday.

Every day that I go back to Target to Check for those legos. There’s Nothing. Bupkiss.

I call SHENANIGANS on Target!

I think they’ll wait until the rain check period is up and all the sudden you’ll see those Millenium Falcons again.

SHENANIGANS!

Target, Don’t go making me go shop at Wal-Mart now.

So I went to the BNL concert in some serious schwag.

I had my BNL belt buckle.

I had my Mad Max Boots

I had my Red BNL Baseball Jersey

mgm had to be thinking something like “How lucky am I to find a guy with such an amazing fashion sense.”

Anyways, halfway through the concert (where we were second row, almost center. I think I got the first fan club tickets). The couple that was next to us switched. The husband went way up to the gallery, while one of the friends of the couple came down and jammed. About 5-6 songs later, the Husband snuck back down.

Now, did I mention that the jersey I was wearing is very red? And that I, being a tall dude, stook out like a sore thumb? Oh, and did I mention the Jersey had a huge 75 in white letters on the back on it?

When the Husband snuck back down he said “All the people up in the galleries are saying “That Red 75 has the best seats! I am getting tickets like Red 75 next time” “.

Imagine that. Me. Famous.

Or just resented.

But I like to think Famous.

Anyways, I think I’m changing all my nicknames/logins/tags to Red75.

With a title like that, I could even fit into Star Wars Convention…

Oh, I managed to also get a pick (thanks to a guy behind us, and mgm) and I got a drumstick! (thanks to me being taller than the woman next to me).
