These last few days have been nasty weather wise. Snow, ice, road closures.
So I had a reason to wear the Pea Coat. It kept me warm like I was in a blanket. Which makes sense since it’s like wrapping one’s self in a wool blanket.
That’s not what made it fun though.
It has pockets. I’m not talking one pocket, or two pockets. I’m talking four big pockets.
Just to let ya’ll know, I had several pairs of parachute pants growing up.
I like pockets.
So now I have junk crammed into each one of those pockets.
I also decided to get some much needed tech stuff (usb cable, etc) when I found something that I had to have at Circuit City.
A Belt clip
For my Phone.
So in celebration of it once again working, I bought the belt clip.
It now sits next to my pocket pc. When I’m on call I’ll now have 1 Pocket PC, 2 Cell Phones and 1 Pager. All on my belt.
I’m so cool.

I’ve been a bit a few days since I posted. Mostly due to the fact that I was in Utah, Nevada and a few other places during the weekend. Oh, and spending time with the Girl.
So, I managed to hitch a ride with my little brother to Utah, had turkey with the fam, and played some mexican train with the Girl’s family. Good times.
Of course, then came the best day of the year.
Black Friday.
Unfortunately even though I got up at 6am, all the good deals were gone.
Here’s my wishlist (I’ve bolded what I got):

Thanks for visiting. Happy shopping!
Yeah, I pretty much sucked it up this year. The stores were picked clean of all the schwag I would have been interested in.
My only consolation is that if Target ever gets any more LEGO Milliennium Falcons in, that I’ll be all over it.
Me. A bunch of Legos. Star Wars Legos.
I
Can’t
Wait.
Knowing my luck though, the sets will never come in.
I’ve already checked Target.
Twice.
In two Days.
So.
Where was I? Oh yes, after getting the shaft during Black Friday, my family, the girl, and I all headed down Mesquite NV.
We didn’t go there to gamble (though I did watch a lot of the Travel channel (Motto: We may not be owned by Las Vegas, but we are owned by the Casinos). We didn’t go to eat lots of food. We didn’t go to play every Dance Dance Revolution game that Nevada had to offer (alas, my little brother did try, but I think there was a game near the Hover dam that he missed).
No. I went to go see Sir Paul McCartney.
In Concert.
At the MGM Grand (Also known as the green Casino)
During the day, we went to the Paris Buffet (also known as the longest buffet line ever). Due to the fact that we had been waiting in line long enough for the meals to transition from breakfast to brunch, we got some good eats.
I had Crepes. Then I had more Crepes. Which I finished off with some Crepes.
Followed by numerous pastries. Pastries that looked so good, but had to be so bad.
While I was waiting in the Paris for food, I discovered something.
My Phone worked.
The Phone I had dunked.
The phone that was making me change all my wild purchasing decisions.
It made a call.
Then it made another.
I think Vegas cured my phone. Bob now makes calls, recieve calls, and even takes photos.
During the rest of the day, we managed to stop at the Star Trek Experience. I also picked upa backbox to replace my homemade Fishtales backbox (pinball stuff).
That night it was time for Sir Paul.
The concert rocked. A majority of the people there were older. It showed. The enthusiasm was very subduded.
I would have to say that my favorites had to be
Helter Skelter
Back in the USSR
Live and let Die
Hey Jude
My pops and I then left, grabbed an In-N-Out cheeseburger and started towards Mesquite.
In total, I slept very little, had a fun time. Lived in terror on the snow filled trip back.
Hope ya’ll had a good Thanksgiving

It’s that time of year again.
It’s time for black friday.
The wonderful day after Thanksgiving. The day when you can get cheap computer parts, and get your back shaved for a nickel!
Well, I exagerate. I don’t know how cheap the computer gear is..
So, for those of you interested, here are some black friday links I’ve found. Feel free to add any links to additional info and I’ll print them here..

BARENAKED ON A STICK - AVAILABLE NOVEMBER 22, 2005
Nettwerk Music Group announced today the release of BARENAKED ON A
STICK, a USB flash memory drive containing songs, videos, and exclusive
content from the BARENAKED LADIES, on sale November 22, 2005 through
the holiday season.
Essential for any BNL fan’s collection, the 128mg USB flash memory
drive (about the size of a pinky finger) is a portable storage device
that is a fast and easy way to share music, videos, pictures and other
data. It is PC/Mac compatible, re-usable and incredibly low priced at
$29.98–the cost of BARENAKED ON A STICK is close to the same cost of
the device on its own with no special content. It will be available on
Amazon and Werkshop (Nettwerk’s online merchandise store), and will
also be sold at all BNL shows this winter.
“Looking for new and interesting ways to bring music to the fans is
always a priority,” says Terry McBride, President and CEO of Nettwerk
Music Group. “This device delivers a terrific value to Barenaked
Ladies’ fans; simultaneously providing them with a unique music
experience as well as a re-usable tool - all at nearly the same price
as the flash drive itself.”
BARENAKED ON A STICK contains 29 songs from the BARENAKED LADIES,
including last year’s holiday album, Barenaked For The Holidays
(Desperation Records 2004) and a handful of live versions of fan
favorites from various shows. Users will also be able to download
photos and buddy icons of the band.
In addition, the device comes complete with exclusive material, like a
demo version of the song “Aluminum” from the Everything To Everyone
recording session, adlibs from the Everywhere For Everyone Tour and
video snippets from the Barenaked For The Holidays recording sessions
So.
I need to go save my pennies.

I am a cooker.
I cook. Back when I was growing up (Well, before I hit this part of growing up) I had planned on being a cook. Or a Director. Or a Writer. Or a Teacher. Or a computer programer. So tonight I cooked some Mormon/Funeral/Whatever Other Event/Religious affiliation you may have Taters. Tommarrow they will be FHE Thanksgiving Taters.
Let’s justs say it’s potatoes with a whole lot of dairy product. I was going to take photos, but forgot.
So, here’s my recipie for Diary Product Taters (using only the cheapest of ingredents):
2 Cans of Cream-o-Chicken soup
1 Cup O-Cheese (Sharp Cheddar)
1 Bag of Hash Brown Taters (not the Mondo bag, but the regular bag)
1 Cube-o-Butter
1 Mid sized tub of Sour Cream
1 Package of French Onion Dip
Couple of handfuls of crushed corn flakes
Directions
Mix everything except the corn flakes together.
Put the corn flakes on top (crush em)
Bake @ 350 for 30 Minutes.
So cheesy. So Dairylicious.
BTW. Anyone see Lost last week? What’s up with that?
