Oh what a night
I was perusing one of the Movie reviewer Blogs I read, Eric D Snider when I read his blog entry about driving through my State, Nay, being stuck in my Town until the next day due to how bad the roads were. Sad thing is 1) Lots of truth to his satire, and 2) I had my brother and sister in law in town due to that weather. So I know what night it was..
The best part is the comments make fun of the State as well… Watch the entire clips from these two videos..
I personally would love to see these musicals.
And then, at the very end of this commercial
I guess it is time for you to move!!!
No- don’t move! =) The reviewers blog is just that of a pretensious easterner; take it from one who knows. I too had that arrogant upturned nose looking down on Wyoming initially… until I took the time to get over myself and really explore and experience it. And it really is a place worth keeping a secret; and I like to think I have some authority in the area since I have seen more than two-thirds of these great united states. Allthough… he has a point with the wind.
Ohhh. Yes! Wyoming!
I’m not planning on leaving 😉
people being stuck in wyoming due to weather conditions??? i would NEVER imagine such a thing
I guess it is time for you to move, to Utah, now, to be by your mother chick.
Jill,
Eric Snider (“the reviewer”) is not a “pretensious [sic] Easterner”. He was born and raised in Southern California; lived in Utah for ten years, where went to BYU and later wrote for the Provo Herald; and is now based out of Portland, Oregon.
Just because you may have visited 2/3 of the states doesn’t justify your bigotry toward the 60% of the population who live east of the Mississippi. It’s offensive and ruder than what you’re incorrectly attempting to criticize.
Craig.
I know who Eric is, and he was mocking Wyoming. Jill was being light hearted in saying that Wyoming is a good place to be, and just because you may visit it on a bad day doesn’t mean its always like that.
And be it East coast or West, he’s got an upturned nose on Wyoming, you have to concede that
Wind? In Wyoming? Never…..
