If you’ve got a problem, yo the internets will solve it
I have a question. But first, let me give you some background.
As my grandfather was fighting cancer he decided that he wanted to give away his belt buckle collection, which he had been collecting over many years, to his grandchildren. I had been debating him on politics (which was our favorite past time) when he told me to come to his room so I could pick a buckle or two. As I browsed the collection of buckles I saw one that was a power plant belt buckle. I asked him about it, and it was on a project that he had been in charge of (he was a Master Electrician). On the back was an inscription of what the plant had been built for.
I grabbed that buckle as fast as I could, because it was about him. I then grabbed another, and we left.
That buckle, and another memento I grabbed are all I have of him.
The only problem is I had to buy a belt to go with the buckle. Then I had to get some more buckles to go with that belt, and, well, it’s snowballed out of all control.
And so I ask you Internets, After looking, I can’t find a good way to organize my buckles.
Comments, hyperlinks, pictures, just please, throw me a bone..
You shall have another belt buckle also…in June 2007
You know my grandfather just happened to have a boat load of belt buckles… something about cowboys and belt buckles just goes together, I guess?
Anywho IIRC he used a metal tie rack that hung in the closet and hung them on there to keep them organized.
I’ve been told that or a box..
Lucky you. I wish I had something like that. 🙁
did you not get one?
I think the belt buckles were only given to the guys.
that’s true, the belt buckles were only given to the guys!!! :'( i didn’t get one either!
ask Ross he has the rest, maybe he will give you one!!!!!
