Just Call me A Yindie (or how Arrested Development is Dead)

Filed under: Bout-Me, Single Stupid Guy — Chris @ 10:06 pm

Alas, this easter I’ve had *alot* of time to watch TV.

Oh, and read some blogs.

Oh, and IM some cool People.

Oh, and do my Taxes.

Oh, and forget about SOMETHING (Making me so mad! I’m getting so old I can’t remember anything!)

Oh, and chowing on Sushi.

The sad part is that I found something that made me sad.

It looks like Arrested Development is dead.

I’m going to need a moment for that.

The article proclaiming the death of Arrested also references the new emerging Yindies
or Grups. The headline says it all.

He owns eleven pairs of sneakers, hasn’t worn anything but jeans in a year, and won’t shut up about the latest Death Cab for Cutie CD. But he is no kid. He is among the ascendant breed of grown-up who has redefined adulthood as we once knew it and killed off the generation gap.

The article talks about the change of adulthood in America. It used to be that there was a definate gap between ages. Apparently my agegroup doesn’t want to grow up?

Good thing I have my Toys-R-Us Shirt.

Anyone else agree with the article?
