Can’t Live Your Life, In the Baby Seat
Well, I’ve made it to SLC, Utah. I am chillin at my mission presidents house, the ever awesome G. Marsden Blanch (And I just love this photo of him) .
I am just borrowing their net connection, and a bed of theirs. I am also planning on using thier workout room. They are good people.
On the long trip to Utah, I heard an old favorite of mine, Baby Seat By The Barenaked Ladies. In it, they say:
Now we?re living somewhere else
We keep opinions to ourselves
But still we seek a sneaky peek at heaven
When the working week defeats us
If you think growing up is tough
Then you?ve just not grown enough, baby
You can?t live your life in the baby seat
You?ve got to stand on your own
Don?t admit defeat
You can?t live your life in the baby seat
You?ve got to stand on your own
Don?t admit defeat
I like those lyrics, and in a very big way, I’ve been taking myself out of my comfort zone, my “Baby Seat”. Scary, but fun at the same time.
See, I’m slowly getting away from my “Avril Lavigne” Mood 😉
