I think there is a universal law that when more than one member of the Sci-Fi show Farscape end up on another show, it will get canceled.
Sure enough, Sci-Fi channel has announced Stargate SG-1 is cancelled
Oh well, episode 200 was entertaining enough.
No matter how much I enjoy Ben Browder and Claudia Black, I’m going to be mighty upset if they make it to Battlestar Galactica.
Don’t know if you heard, but a piece I read today indicates that “some of the cast” from SG-1 might make it to Atlantis. Wonder who that might be, and how that bodes for Atlantis.
While I agree that it was time for SG-1 to end, their reasons for doing so were… odd. One article I read said that SCi-fi was canning SG-1 due to low ratings on Sci-Fi Friday with the loss of BSG, but in the same sentence it stated that raitings were strong when BSG was on the air. It seems to me better to keep SG-1, SG-A, and BSG in a 3 hour line-up then to kill off SG-1 during the off season before BSG returns.
Atleast keep SG-1 around untill Caprica is ready to air. BSG, Caprica, SG-1, SG-A… oh yeah.. that’s a night of nerd goodness 🙂
If Browser and Black go to Atlantis, might as well call it curtians as well.
I am so sad! I will admit that the reason that I first started watching SG-1 was because of a couple of characters, but I truly enjoy the show. It will be a great loss to all of us fans! I will still keep my SG-1 wall paper. Yum…….
