I will admit that the reason that I first started watching SG-1 was because of a couple of characters, but I truly enjoy the show. It will be a great loss to all of us fans! One article I read said that SCi-fi was canning SG-1 due to low ratings on Sci-Fi Friday with the loss of BSG, but in the same sentence it stated that raitings were strong when BSG was on the air. It seems to me better to keep SG-1, SG-A, and BSG in a 3 hour line-up then to kill off SG-1 during the off season before BSG returns. Atleast keep SG-1 around untill Caprica is ready to air.
