It is once again that time of year. That time when I grow older. Am I allowed to say that is freaking me out just a tad bit?
I’ve been living in a a state of what could be called denial for the last few years. I just don’t feel that old.
This is me, not feeling that old.
At the same time, I’m just not that hip anymore. I can feel it. Will I have to come to terms? Most likely, sometime in the future. Will I let the part of me that enjoys the new, the unexpected, or the real bad cartoon shows go? No. I think it will just be the same balancing act I live with all the time.I dealt with it last year, I’ll deal with it this year.
And like last year, ya’ll rock, it’s just more of a Vanillia Ice rock.

Just a bit of advice, the day you turn the next year older you will feel the same as today. The old adage is that you are as young as you feel. I say, think young and you will stay young. Push forward.
