Last night I had a companion from the mission over.
And his Wife.
And his Son.
It’s a tad bit surreal. I had a fun time talking with him. Catching up on the many years that have passed, the fun times we had, the fact that his son was able to find the gumball machine in my apartment (for those of you who don’t know, I am crazy, I have a gumball machine.)
And this is what you see when you walk in the door.
I am such a nerd.
Anyways, I was showing off the apartment when I heard the clink of change (that had previously been in the little boys mouth) and the sound of the gumball making it’s way to the shute.
Who said my apartment wasn’t kid friendly!
I do look forward to the day when I can wear me some sans a belt slacks (plaid mind you) and watch the neighbor kids with the pants yanked up to my armpits.
That will be fun.

We totally had a gumball machine in my old apartment. I ate all the gumballs, though, so it was mostly just an empty gumball machine. Until we put Mike & Ike candies in it. Then it was just a jammed up gumball machine. So that sucked.

So it is! I didn’t look closely enough
*I* would enjoy one of those. . .I would probably chew at least one piece a day, just to enjoy watching it go down the tube
